  1. Such a wonderful opportunity! If you don’t mind my asking, how close were you when you shot the top two photos? They have such a loving narrative quality to them.

  2. Funny thing is, every time I refresh the page the layout of the photos is different, so I’m not sure which two you are referring to, but thank you! The longest lens most of us carried on this trip was a 70-200, so we were fairly close to this group. While the mares and foals aren’t handled a great deal, these are domestic horses, and unflappable ones at that, so they were mostly unconcerned about our presence.
