  1. I don’t care how little it is, I can’t paint anything in an hour. You must have really been in the “zone”–congrats on acceptance into the show!

      Painting fast takes practice, to be sure, but most of my plein air pieces are completed in less than 2.5 hours. It’s the nature of the beast: take any longer than that and you’ll start “chasing the shadows” and trying to change your light/dark pattern as the sun moves across the sky. But definitely, this one was painted in double-time!
