It’s been a busy summer here at Casa Miller-Steiner. A little travel, and lots of work in the studio, both in front of the computer and in front of the easel. The other day I was outside working on another of my Ribbon & Rosette series of paintings. Tinto, who cannot understand the fuss about moving boxes, camera, ribbons, objects and paints around the backyard in search of the perfect afternoon light, finally came over to demand an explanation about why there was a pile ‘o ribbons on the stairs … or maybe he was just ready for his close up. So here he is, my studio assistant, the Most Photographed Terrier in San Diego, in all his Golden Hour glory!
