I agree with Betty's comments. Are we going to get to see any more of these newly discovered images? This one is absolutely lovely.

Some years ago I submitted a drawing and it was accepted as part of a group show put on by the American Academy of Equine Artists. It was my first showing in the US, and it was also at the Horse Park. I think the gallery at that time was the Fenton Gallery but do not recall exactly. The show was juried and I did not receive one of the final awards but it still was an honor to have been accepted and to show in such an elite group. There is an oil painting of mine currently hanging in the Horse Show Association main office in the park as well. They must enjoy it as the contract was renewed for it to stay through the World Equestrian Games. It is of a foal trotting, and was a commission for Sandi Lieb in Reddick, Florida.

Congratulations on your achievement. All the best.

I am so jealous I am drooling! You see the difficullty I would have being in France is remembering I am there for a horse show and not eating my way through the country.
I live in a small midwestern city and with a 2 year old horse attend small local shows, so forget about gourmet food I enjoy what my husband and I call "4-H Mom pie". It can be found at most small horse shows and is occasionaly replaced by "church lady pies".

Your photography and paintings are amazing, so beautiful. My previous junior student rode for your husband quite a few times, and received a 73% from him. We knew we were right on track after we rode with Mr.Steiner!

I love it! I'm a serious believer in desensitizing all horses to just about anything. I've lost count of the number of times I've been asked not to click so loudly (or not shoot at all) when photographing a dressage show here in the US. After landing in the ER trauma unit with head injuries several years ago after my horse ran me over trying to get away from a scary "noise", I spent the next 2+ years ground training and filling the barn with every scary object I could find. He now makes me proud at events/shows as the most unflappable of the horses. Wonderful post Terri! I miss seeing you out here, but love reading you blog.
