And now … Prayers for Japan

Our hearts go out to the people of Japan’s northern coast, where the devastation is just beyond words. Japan’s strict building codes allowed most of the newer structures to survive the earthquake, but nothing could withstand the tsunami. And then there are the nuclear reactors….

The New York Times has before and after satellite photos of the mind-boggling scope of the damage.
